Vajrai Waterfall
The 'Bhambavli Vajrai Waterfall is just 27 km from the city of Satara, Maharashtra. It is situated near the Sahyadri hill Its height is around 853 feet (260M).Making it the second-highest plunge waterfall in India after the Nohkalikai Falls with a drop of 335 m (1100 ft) in Meghalaya.
Kas Pathar
At a distance of 24 km from Satara, 37 km from Mahabaleshwar and 50 km from Panchgani, the Kaas Plateau, also known as the Kas Pathar, is a vast volcanic lateritic plateau situated in Satara district of Maharashtra. It falls under the Sahyadri Sub Cluster and is among the top places to visit near Satara.
Kaas Lake
Kaas Lake or Kaas Talav, a popular tourist attraction of the region, is located in Satara District of Maharashtra and is situated at a distance of 26 km from Satara City. Kaas Lake, which lies at an altitude of 1067 m above sea level, is an artificial lake built in the year 1875.
It's a nice place, secluded and serene. Food is good, the rooms are clean, and it's undergoing an expansion. We were almost 40 people with 5 of them families with kids and evryone enjoyed the place. Kaas Lake is about 3-4 km down the road. In case u end up going in a non flower season, there are activities for children which can be availed at nominal pricing. Overall a great experience.

This place is the last hotel before reaching the kaas plateau. It is around 500m from the parking checkpost and approx.2km from the entrance of kaas. This hotel has pretty good rooms to stay at, and has a beautiful location and views. The food here is very delicious and lip smacking. Best part, it provides oreo cornetto too 😋 In all, a very nice place for food and stay. The people running the hotel are also very helful!

If you are planning a getaway in the mountains, with friends or family, if all you care about is the company, and want to get away from the electronic media, if you want to enjoy cool breeze and a valley view that ignites romance, This is the place to go to. If you want to see Kaas plateau flowers peacefully, best way to do that is to book a room here and book the morning slot for flowers. this place is only 500 meters from the plateau. In fact, you walk less from this place than you have to walk from the parking lot to see the flowers. While you are staying there, ask the maharaj (cook) to prepare his signature mutton curry.

I was there with my family.. The manager and staffs are cordial. Rooms are compact.. with Good AC. Food is excellent service is prompt only one aspect to improve.. the entry section road is risky for vehicles and entry to the rooms... as there is no road as such.. small granular stones on road..
